The House System

To inspire a healthy sense of competition, students at Wheaton International School have been allocated one of the four houses. Students develop a sense of belonging and a feeling of unity in being a part of a specific house. Participating in inter-house competitions gives the students an opportunity to display their talent and helps them learn valuable lessons on teamwork. Be it a debate, quiz or sports event, students give their best to win laurels and house points.

Each house is led by the House Mistress / Master for a year.

The Captain and Vice-captain guide their teams on all fronts and play a vital role in leading their team to triumph in events.

The four houses are Ventus, Ignis, Terra, Aqua (VITA = LIFE) named after Elements of Nature. These elements should remind us to look around and appreciate the natural world and the wonder that is creation.
